Apple Original Films has released the first look at Tom Hanks in the new sci-fi movie Finch, which is coming to our screens later this year.
The film is directed by Game of Thrones veteran Miguel Sapochnik and is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth.
Hanks becomes a teacher as well as a survivor having a series of flashbacks to life before the event that wiped out civilisation.

The film, originally titled BIOS, was filmed in New Mexico and the States.
Hanks also starred in another Apple Original Film, Greyhound which premiered in 2020 on Apple TV+, where he played a Navy veteran.
Finch sees Hanks play a robotic engineer and one of the few survivors of an apocalyptic solar event that has left the world a wasteland, forcing Finch to live in an underground bunker for a decade.
He has a dog called Goodyear for company and creates a robot (played by Caleb Landry Jones), who names himself Jeff, to watch over the good boy when Finch no longer can.
The movie sees the trio head out on a road trip into a deserted American West so that Finch is able to teach Jeff the joy and wonder of what it means to be alive while trying to get Jeff and Goodyear to get along.
There is a trailer for Finch – take a first look at the movie here:
Finch will be released on Apple TV+ on 5 November.
